Mason’s Musings June 9th, 2023

Welcome back everyone, I hope the start of summer is treating you all well, and that you’ve been able to participate in all the fun events we’ve had! This year’s Summer Reading Program is off to a great start and it’s only going to get better. We’ve absolutely loved seeing the attendance for all the events so far, and are so happy that you are enjoying them.

With this year’s tagline being “All Together Now” we have set up a project here in the library that hones in on the togetherness and unity aspect. The Community Quilt Project will be an ongoing event where kids, teens, and adults alike can contribute to a community quilt. When finished, it will be hung up in the library. Each week we will have a different theme that helps to further build the quilt. So, make sure to come down and be a part of something that will hang in the library forever!

Just a friendly reminder for our upcoming 10+ event, Gardening 101 with Farmgirl Gardens. Pre-registration is required as we are limited to 20 available spots. So, if you’re interested in learning the ins-and-outs of gardening make sure to either call or drop by the library to secure your spot!

Well, that’s all from me for this week. We sure do have some exciting events coming up, and I can’t wait to see you all here! Have great rest of your week and make sure to wear sunscreen!
