August is finally here but the summer heat isn’t finished with us quite yet. As much as I would love to start dressing for fall weather, I’m more concerned of melting the second I step outside my house. Even though the summer heat persists, unfortunately our Summer Reading Program has come to a close. The deadline for logging your last few books has passed, however, you’re still able to pick up any prizes that have not yet been picked up. Thank you again to everyone who participated this year. Summer Reading is the highlight of our year and it takes a lot of planning and preparation on our part, so we greatly appreciate all of your feedback and attendance.
Once again, a reminder to all parents that Ms. Katies Children’s Hour does not run in August, but fret not she will be back in September!
However, we will still have an event for the little one to come to. Every Friday at 11 AM the meeting room will be set up for a Friday Free Play! The toys and activities will rotate each week to keep it fun and exciting each time.
I hope you all are able to stay as cool as possible as we slowly transition into more pleasant weather. Wishing y’all a great weekend! (hopefully somewhere with air conditioning!)
