Just as I thought we might have a week of normal temperatures I am once again proven wrong by the almighty weather app. Even though we’re already halfway into August this brutal summer heat refuses to let go. However, when the leaves do eventually begin to turn and the wind becomes brisk, I have the perfect activity in mind. A cousin of mine has been running a pumpkin patch right here in Krum for quite a while now. In previous years it has opened to the public around the last week of September. I’m sure our patrons will find It’s a great way to get in the mood for the fall season. Once we get closer to a confirmed date I’ll definitely let y’all know more about it!
If any of you have any other small businesses or events you’d like me to shout-out to shed light on some fun fall activities. Feel free to come by the library and tell me all about it. Or, if I’m not here don’t be afraid to email me at libraryassistant@krumlibrary.org . I hope you all have a great weekend and fight the good fight in order to make it through the remainder of this summer heat!
