All the world truly is alive again! And I hope that each and every one of you gets to enjoy the white blossoms in bloom because before you know it Summer comes all too soon. Speaking of the looming Summer sun we librarians are busily getting ready for our awesome Summer Reading Program!
We love seeing how excited everyone gets about reading, and the cool events we have during the Summer Reading Program. Starting June 1stcome see all the fun events planned for all ages, birth to adult. You can earn badges and chances to win prizes just for reading and participating in events.
Wishing you all a great week to come and for those of our patrons that suffer from allergies take solace in the fact that Summer is coming soon to hopefully lessen that burden!
Library Events 4/21 – 4/28:
Saturday April 22nd – Reading with Rover is back! Bring the kiddos to the library to practice their reading skills on trained therapy dogs. We will provide the books, all you need to do is go in and have fun reading to the sweet little doggies! Reading with Rover will start at 10:30 AM
Wednesday April 26th – Children’s Hour with Ms. Katie! Bring the little ones for story-time with Ms. Katie. Stories, songs, activities, and crafts are all part of the fun. Children’s Hour starts at 10:00 AM and occurs every Wednesday of each month (excluding January and August).
Friday April 28th – Fourth Friday Free Play! From 11:00 AM to Noon. Preschoolers and their adults are invited to come join the fun every fourth Friday of the month. Join the fun with an unstructured playtime with rotating toys each month!
