Staff Pick from Joy I recommend The Last Bookshop in London by Madeline Martin, which is set in World War 2. One of the things I tend to like about WW2 stories is the hope, the humanity, the courage, and the compassion that pour out in the midst of such dark times. This book did not disappoint with any of those themes. Follow the main character Grace as she moves to London from the country and then navigates the entirety of the war in London with hope and courage.
Library Events
Children’s Hour meets every Wednesday at 10 AM in the meeting room. Join Mrs. Katie for songs, stories, movement, and a craft.
